GLADS – Global Airbag Data System – enables individual airbags to be identified and their lifecycle history to be verified.

By linking each airbag to the vehicle VIN, GLADS creates continuity of information throughout the vehicle lifecycle – from manufacturing and installation to servicing, technical inspection and the secondary vehicle market.
